Games That Make You Feel Like A Badass?

So, I’m looking for games that, basically, make you feel like a badass. Either through the overall feel of the gameplay, or through building your character up. Some examples I can think of are Blade & Sorcery, when played well, some Star Wars games where you can brutalize the enemies with force powers, or games like Skyrim where, playing as a werewolf for example, you can beat the ever loving hell out of your enemies.
Not the best description, but hopefully ya’ll get what I mean.
Oh, even strategy games where you can build up an unstoppable force and completely overwhelm your enemies would be good.

edit: Look, I love how many responses this has gotten but a lot of you are ignoring the actual idea. I mean, I’ve seen recommendations for souls-like games and such. That’s stupid! It’s not about games that reward you for extreme effort. It’s about games that pretty much make you feel badass from square one.
