Transferring Large Folders

Hi! I need to transfer large folders with subfolders that have a hundreds of files from one google drive to another account. Is there an easy way to do this? I’ve tried downloading individual folders but stuff is either missing or it takes multiple hours to upload. Would it take the same amount of time to download and then transfer to an external hard drive or would it be less?
