Watching shows in Italian

I've started watching The Big Bang Theory in Italian with Italian subtitles and notice that the spoken language is quite different from the subtitles. I find the spoken vocabulary more of a match to my learning and really wish the subtitles matched but I also wonder if the subtitles are more natural vocabulary. Anyone experience this and know which is the more natural language? Also, any television series with matching subtitles/dubbing on Netflix that you recommend?
