Mark Williams Injury History

Was interested, here's what I found. Back is obviously the big concern since those can be killer, although it was only reported as a contusion and he's a year out from that? Also seems to he having nagging L foot/ankle issues which is probably the bigger concern at this point. I assume load management will be necessary

Rookie year

  • Reportedly played in the G league (they had Mason Plumlee, Kai Jones, and Nick Richards) for some of the year

  • 11/17/22-11/20/22: L ankle sprain

  • 12/5/22-12/29/22: L ankle sprain

  • 3/10/23-3/24/23: R thumb dislocation

  • 1 game in April: L ankle sprain

  • Offseason: thumb surgery for torn ligament

Year 2

  • 12/3/23-12/8/23: Lower back contusion

  • 12/10/23-rest of the season: Out (presumably same injury)

Year 3 (this year)

  • 10/19/24-11/25/24 and 11/27/24-12/3/24: Unspecified foot injury (assuming the same L foot unspecified tendon strain)

  • 12/8/24-12/14/23: Rest (probably for the foot)

  • 1/17/25-1/18/25: Unspecified knee injury

  • 1/26/25-2/1/25: L foot tendon management
