I find it's hilarious that some people are throwing a fit about the 'Zero Tolerance Chat Filter'

We all know there's been discourse about league becoming more and more toxic by the year, so Riot implementing measures to deal with toxicity is an absolutely great thing, and should be fully welcomed by the community right? Yet we still have a bunch of people complaining about this decision while disguising it as if they're actually angry that Riot is focusing on verbal toxicity instead of gameplay toxicity.

Everyone should know by now that it's a lot harder and unreliable to deal with the latter for various reasons; such as it being difficult to detect specific acts like soft inting and whatnot. This is why i don't buy the pushback against the chat filter implementation from some fans. In my experience, at least half the time, gameplay toxicicity begins with verbal toxicity in the chat so this new chat filter is actually liike killing 2 birds with one stone....shhh don't tell the naysayers that one

It's just funny to me because it's obviously just a bunch of toxic jerks who're mad because they can't use their favorite slurs to make others feel bad ingame without being punished anymore. Awww isn't that just sad, i fully support any measures being put in place to reduce toxicity, cudos to Riot and happy gaming to all the League enjoyers that just want to play the game without having to deal with people who can't control their temper tantrums ingame.
