Thoughts on my next step

Hello everyone! A little about myself: I am currently a MLS (26yo).I have been working in the microbiology department for almost 3 years, and I think it's time for me to think what to do next. So I have been trying to come up with ideas on what to study or what to do in the upcoming future. Some ideas:

MBA. To be honest I was thinking about it, but I wanna say if I don't have connections, I think I won't have a chance to get in administrative role, plus I've seen how miserable my managers/ lab directors are, so that really discourages me a lot, lol.

Physician assistant: I contemplated this idea for a long time, I've even applied to schools ( got rejected tho), but to be honest I can't afford to be in school full time and not being able to work, so I guess that's not really a feasible option.

MPH: so I have been researching this career for a while and tbh it resonates with me, plus I think my microbiology experience/ expertise would actually help me a lot. The thing is from what I gathered it really doesn't pay that much in the long term. Which brings me to my final option:

M.S in Biostatistics. From what I understand is similar to mph but more mathematical and theoretically focused ( don't get me wrong I love math), plus it pays better than an MPH. The only thing that discourages me is that I don't have research experience ( thank you covid), and the market is bad rn, which I know it does not mean that it won't get better in the future. Other than that I think it could be a good choice to pursue.

What do you all think? I know it could be a steep learning curve, but I always up for a challenge. Anyone in a similar situation?

A little more about my experience : I have a bachelor's in Biochemistry, after that I pursued my bachelor's in CLS. Working currently as a micro bench tech almost for 3 years.

Thanks!
