Whos your favorite pony and why?

Hi, everypony! This is my first post and to this sub reddit but, I've been lurking for awhile. Lol. Firstly, I want to tell you that the community you all made here is so wholesome! This show means so much to me it helped me become a better pony. Lol. Im still learning and going back to the show helps me. Seeing all of you talk/support eachother is amazing. So, thank you! 🩷

Now, for my current favorite pony, Applejack! 💛🧡 I'm rewatching the show now with my grandma! (its her first watch and im excited! She likes it so far!) The episode that locked her in for me was season 2 episode 14, the last round up. I believe this is the first episode we get a bigger insight of her character. She makes 2 pinkie promises in the episode. The first one; bringing home enough money to fix the roof and the second of going to breakfast to tell her best friends why she can't go back to ponyville. She felt that she broke both of her promises and probably feels an immense amount of guilt for potentially lying to her family, friends, and the rest of the town and not going to breakfast. Even though she did promise to be there she then justifies her actions by making it right by, staying true to her promises (i hope that made sense. Lol.), like getting a job at the cherry factory/farm to pay for the roof and being honest to pinkie and vaguely telling her why she couldn't be there. ("Rarity, catch me!" 😂) when she finally got caught you can see all of the guilt release out of her. And I love twilight in that scene telling applejack she had nothing to worry about. It just shows how much she deserves her title. Im so happy that her friends were able to help her see that she needed to come home.

As a side note I do want to appreciate how each of the mane 6 represented their element in that episode. Twilight: being empathetic to Applejack while still respectfully understanding boundaries. Rd: already ready to find Applejack as soon as they realize she's missing. Rarity: by generously using her body to soften pinkies fall. Lol. I cant remember what else she did. Im sorry, rarity! Pinkie: being pinkie Fluttershy: "Applejack, we can always find a way to fix that hole in the roof, if you dont come back we'll never fix the hole in our hearts." 🩷😭
