We're finally here, /r/NFL! The season is closing and we're in for a pretty great matchup, even though this is a repeat of a few years ago. I hope you were all able to do well in your predictions this year and come out over on top in your bets. For the Championship games, I went 0-2, which is what happens when you bet on the underdogs sometimes. Sunday, I'm just hoping for a great game. Here we go!

Confidence: Low - Philly will look to set the tone early with their rushing attack, led by Barkley, who has been nearly unstoppable this postseason. Behind a strong O-line, Barkley has racked up 147.3 YPG with five TDs, and with Hurts’ ability to keep defenses honest on the ground, they have been chewing up yards at an incredible 6.8 YPC. If they can control the tempo and keep Mahomes on the sideline, it looks good for their chances. But KC won’t make it easy. Spag’s defense has been stout against the run, allowing just 98.5 rushing YPG in the playoffs. The Chiefs will likely stack the box and force Hurts to beat them through the air, where Brown and Smith can be dangerous, but the passing game has been inconsistent. Mahomes is as clutch as they come (17-3 in the postseason). He’s found ways to make it work with Kelce, Worthy, and JuJu. If Pacheco and Hunt can generate enough of a running game to keep the Eagles' defense guessing, Mahomes will be in prime position to take over. Turnovers and third-down efficiency will be key. The Eagles boast a +10 turnover margin in the playoffs, with Baun and Davis as difference-makers. On the other side, the Chiefs have converted 45% of their third downs, and Mahomes has a knack for keeping drives alive in big moments. Ultimately, this game will come down to the final minutes. Philly has the firepower to dethrone the champs, and if they control the clock and avoid mistakes, they can pull it off. But betting against Mahomes in a Super Bowl? That’s a tough sell. Don’t be surprised if Butker drills a game-winning field goal to keep the Chiefs on top.
That's my prediction, let's hear yours. Keep it civil and fun. Best of luck!
