about SAG and BAFTA
Everyone pays too much attention to the results of the award and ignores the main significance
These two awards let everyone know the support of each film in each region through nomination and award
If a film is almost sweep in Europe, but it is poor in US. Then it can't win the Oscar, because 80% of the votes are from US
If a film is sweep by in US and is poor in Europe, it may still award
From experience, PGA+DGA+WGA+SAG, basically got all the US tickets so it can be sweep like eeaao
SAG+PGA usually can guarantee the best picture, like coda but can’t sweep
As for Bafta, It has about 900 votes. Basically, the winner can only be decided if the US votes isn’t strong enough or all films almost the same, like Lily Gladstone
