After move to Ultrawide my RX6600XT doesn't seems ok.

Hello, everyone,

I bought about a year ago (second hand) an RX6600XT, which I really liked (before that I had a 1050).

Then a few months ago I got an ultrawide 1080p monitor with freesync 75Hz as a gift.

I fell in love with this monitor, but the in-game performance was weird.

To give you an example I can't get above 40fps on Baldur's Gate 3 with FSR on.

I get about 48fps on Resident Evil 2 remake or 35 on Silent Hill 2 (without Ray Tracing because the performance loss is too high).

I think the problem is actually the monitor resolution.

I would like some advice from you guys:

Since I'm not a performance or graphics enthusiast (I'm happy with 1080p), but I like to see a ‘’smooth‘’ game (unfortunately I also have a lot of stuttering today) in your opinion, without spending a lot of money is it better to:

upgrade to a new GPU (I had thought about a 4060 which was in the budget and it's very power efficent), or go back to 16:9 as a monitor?

Consider that I have an R5 5600x. Thank you all
