New plant help

Hello all! I acquired this monstera (I think that’s what it is) from a friend who didn’t have the room for it anymore. I’d love to hear suggestions about how to properly take care of it and how to get it to its peak health. This is not it’s permanent living spot, it’s just very heavy so I haven’t moved it to it’s forever spot. Thank you in advanced for any suggestions!
