There's no one on Earth with a more inflated sense of self-importance than an overly entitled customer who threatens to shop at a competitor store. What do people honestly expect to achieve when they say that? Do they think the product that I just told them was out of stock will magically appear? Do they think the prices will magically adjust? Do they think I will just fall to my knees, break down in tears, and beg forgiveness at the mere thought of them doing business with a competitor?
