On a serious note, I reckon the reason the boys don’t reference or bring up the XFM days/pod is because of the sheer amount of cancellable material.

I’ve been thinking about this, especially with its recent rise in the podcast charts - I reckon, particularly Ricky, has decided not to draw attention to it so that there’s isn’t loads of scandal etc around the accents, the homophobia, transphobia (as it would now be deemed).

I, like many, can look past this stuff because I love the gang and can see it for what it was; of its time, but I think with the Netflix deals and Steve’s higher brow acting they wouldn’t fancy people picking through the XFM archives and digging up the ridiculous thing they’ve said, I also think this is why they wouldn’t reunite anytime soon unfortunately.
