Room Cancelled on Booking.com - They Said It Was Me. It Wasn't!
Hi! So today I noticed a booking I have (made mooonths ago, for this April) was cancelled on my Booking account. I rang Booking to ask if it was the hotel and they told me nope, it was a guest! I definitely didn't cancel it. They were even able to give us an exact date and time it was cancelled by a 'guest.' (Didn't specify a name or mine, weird.) Hotel also confirmed they didn't do it.
My friend suggested maybe it was Booking and they weren't owning up to it but I'm not so sure about this. Has anyone ever had this experience? I've had no weird log ins or security breaches either, and not sure why anyone would cancel this on me.
