Any Idea Whether PSC (Personal Services Contractors) Are More Vulnerable Under the Hiring Freeze?

Hi folks. I got TJO to join State as a PSC in December, with no firm start date. I read through the whole memo- it seems like I should have been rejected already, and the only reason I could think maybe I haven't yet is that the position is related to national security. I emailed my hiring managers and they said they are still waiting for further guidance about my position and the impacts of the freeze on PSC- do any other personal services contractors have any insight? It seems like a case where we would be even easier to target than other federal positions. I'm also just wondering if I should really just give up and go back to full time applying for jobs like I have been for the past few months.
