In general, if you use RS Means correctly, it is not going to win you jobs.

RS means is a tool for companies that don’t actually do the work. As a specialty/trade contractor you should be estimating projects with actual labor and material take offs; including equipment rentals, consumable costs, operational overhead, and profit margin.

thank you so much everyone for giving me insights. this is really helping me alot. is there any other way, to get projects aside from bidding platforms, I've kept telling my team, to think out of the box to increase the sales, but they just keep telling me to search jobs in bidding platforms. we are trying to get job for commercial projects.
