I dont like the new update but I just had a realisation: We're loving this game so much that we forgot, the most prominent pitch of World is that it's a big openworldish island with connected courses. They cant risk the most identifiable aspect of the game to become a forgotten option.

Just here to remind everyone that Nintendo made over 300 Darksoulsish voicelines fleshing out the world building of botw and totk and that it needs to become a standard feature for all zelda games to come. One of my biggest complaints about both games, fixed with an out of nowhere dlc feature.

Im really happy with the upgrade packs but it has left me in a strange situation I didnt see coming. Kinda wish they left out the extra features and made it a free res bump for all of them. There is more to it for sure not a bad compromise honestly, but it's still bittersweet.

Wait. What happens to the joycon magnets when the console runs out of battery? Do they just kinda fall off? Additionally, when u turn off the console, and it still uses the battery to keep the joycons together, will it run out of battery faster than most handheld consoles 'while turned off'?

If it's true that some of the free upgrades are straight res & fps improvements, and the mid range ones make u pay for said free upgrade because they are bundled with features I really dont care for, Im officially incredibly frustrated with this. The situation with physical game prices and the general bump in price, in combination with my love for tcg pocket, has made me realise that Im not as in love with physical games as I thought, and would jump ship almost instantly if they did this. If Nintendo resized the zl button into a 2nd Z button and widened the yellow C stick they could've created an INCREDIBLE 2nd pro controller option for people, and I dont know why they didnt. It has all the inputs. The lost potential here is so painful I wish I could forget it even exists.

Just as expected the Treehouse manipulated us into thinking the Zelda Switch 2 4k edition is only a mildly improved version. It looks WAAAYY better when bitrate isnt an issue as a video upload.
