i feel that this isn’t mentioned enough! always people putting shit on CS but never other majors, even though i know so many people in the medical field that work customer service and many others in engineering working as uber drivers, people keep turning down CS because it used to be so great back in the day, and now its slowing down, while other majors have been slow for decades and its become the new norm.

Location matter, if you lived in US, there are not many CS jobs left in US. They are all being replaced and offshored to cheaper countries.

Hello, i’ve been noticing US CS majors struggling really hard with finding a job these days and its really starting to set some panic into my heart ngl, but i don’t even live in the US, i live in a country in Africa which is known to have alot of CS grads work remotely with companies outside of Africa, is the market really cooked for us too and we are doomed, or is this market status only for US citizens because of the outsourcing?
